It's been a while since we did a review of a large and known sportsbook which is why we decided to take another look at the Bovada Sportsbook.
For those who do not know the history of Bovada, it all started with the Bodog sportsbook where back in 1990s early 2000s known as one of the big online offshore books.
Bovada was created in 2011 exclusively for US players due to various laws in the US.
For this Bodada Review, one of our staff opened an account online and just kind of let is sit. When you are shopping for the best bonus, it' always best to wait until they contact you because it gives you the negotiation advantage right off the bat.
Their sales department was ok as it took them over 24 hours to get in contact with us. We thought we would give their sales rep a bit of a hard time and acted like we were just curious s to what this was about.
After about 15 minutes of screwing around, we decided to make a money gram deposit for $300 with a 30% cash bonus. The transaction went smoothly but we felt as we were just a number with these guys. That is the problem when you deal with large books, they treat you in a professional manner most of the time but you just don't feel the love!
So we started playing and at one point we were up to $1,500 during week 3 of the NFL season!
Of course, these things never last and by the time Monday night football was over, we were down to $234 but with a completed rollover.
Yesterday, we decided to take our money out to see how much hassle we were gonna get. After the usual checking of our action and rollover, they figured that we were a recreational player and decided to send us our big $150!!!
Overall, the service and the lines at Bovada are pretty much what we expected. Good service, decent lines and s long as you play by their rules, you will enjoy playing with them.
