It was a great season for the Houston Rockets as they proved that they were good enough to go against the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, good enough was not enough to beat them for Game 7 which ended in a 101-92 loss for the Rockets.
For the Golden State Warriors, it was a close call as they found themselves behind by 11 points with only 24 minutes to go. The Warriors looked dead on the court and it looked like they would miss the NBA Finals this year. However, during the second half of the game, the Warriors came alive while the Rockets forgot how to shoot.
During the third quarter, Stephen Curry scored 14 points of his 27 points. This helped turned the game around for the Warriors from an 11 point deficit to a 7 point advantage. In addition, once the Warriors took the lead, they kept it thanks to 11 points from Kevin Durant.

The NBA finals are finally here and It comes as no surprise to many sports handicappers that this year’s NBA Finals will have the Cleveland going head to head against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are looking to get back at the Cavaliers for the loss they incurred at last year’s NBA Finals but who can say which team will come out on top.
This will be the first time in the NBA that the two same teams will be playing for three years straight. Both teams certainly deserve to be in the NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors with a 12-0 season and the Cleveland Cavaliers with as 12-1 season.
In fact, unless you are a Warriors or a Cavaliers fan, this NBA season has been a bit of a bore with these two teams dominating the league.

While the Thanksgiving holiday belongs to the NFL, Christmas belongs to the NBA and they annually give us the present of a string of high-profile matchups. This year is no different with five games played between noon to midnight ET, anchored by the massive NBA Finals rematch of first place Cleveland against first place Golden State.
This is the matchup many have been waiting for, and it couldn’t have come at a better time as the Cavs backcourt is finally getting healthy. Cleveland just got back Iman Shumpert to shore up the perimeter defense and they saw star guard Kyrie Irving play his first game of the season on Sunday against Philadelphia.
Cavs are heating up with five consecutive victories and four straight ATS covers heading into Wednesday night’s game vs. New York – the longest ATS winning streak this season.

Game 2 of the NBA finals is over and many are thinking that this is it for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they lost another game against the Golden State Warriors in a 77-110 defeat last Sunday. In fact, the Warriors are making the Cavs look like a second rate team when they rolled over them by 33 points.
Most sports handicappers agree that this should not be happening and that is must be a fluke since in order to make it to the finals, a team has to go through many hardship that keeps increasing the higher up the ladder they get.
The odd thing for this NBA finals is that the Golden State Warriors have not been a their best as we have seen in the past two games the Warriors play conspicuously imperfect basketball with easy open missed shots and ball turnovers such as last Sunday when they lost the ball 20 times!

With some of the bigger names in the free agency market starting to commit, we thought we would take a “way too early” look at the contenders for winning the NBA Championship next year.
The online sportsbook currently have the Cleveland Cavaliers as an overwhelming +275 favorite, however, that number is skewed as the Cavs are being treated as a lock to come out of the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland resigned Kevin Love to a long term contract, are expected to sign Tristan Thompson to a long term contract as well, and there is “decision” this offseason as to whether or not LeBron will be back in his hometown.
