Miami Guard Dion Waiters Suffers Bad Reaction to THC Edible

Miami Guard Dion Waiters Suffers Bad Reaction to THC EdibleMiami guard Dion Waiters hasn’t played a single NBA game this season for several reasons. However, his latest absence was due to the weirdest reason yet. According to pay per head sources, Waiters had an adverse reaction to THC.

THC is the active ingredient found in marijuana, which is still part of the banned substances list of the NBA. Waiters had a panic attack during the team’s charter flight last Thursday after eating an edible infused with THC.

The Miami Heat organization didn’t give out an official comment about the incident. According to basketball news outlets, Waiters suffered from a stomachache after ingesting an unknown substance after the team won against the Phoenix Suns. He was treated for it after the team arrived in LA. He didn’t attend the game against the Lakers because of an unspecified illness.

NBA Sportsbook Odds for Saturday

pexels photo 1293265 1The Boston Celtics barely won against the Sacramento Kings, 111-109. But this also gives the Celtics a short streak of wins- something they have not seen in the last eight outings. In their current set on the road, they are also in a winning streak, and hopefully, this will continue down the road to end up facing the Lakers on Saturday.

Sports and gambling news pages will be centering on the NBA as there are only 16 games left in the regular season. The best sportsbook pay per head bookies will also be keeping an eye out on the Celtics, as they have been doing well in their recent games. At some point, there were fears that Boston may not stand a chance to win the top spot in the Eastern Conference, but they have now won 3 out of 4 games. And even without Kyrie Irving in the court, the Celtics are doing well, going 10-2 SU. Of course, things may be more exciting when Irving returns back to the court this weekend.

NBA Recap – Warriors Defeat Rockets in Game 7

Warriors Defeat Rockets in Game 7It was a great season for the Houston Rockets as they proved that they were good enough to go against the Golden State Warriors.  Unfortunately, good enough was not enough to beat them for Game 7 which ended in a 101-92 loss for the Rockets.

For the Golden State Warriors, it was a close call as they found themselves behind by 11 points with only 24 minutes to go.  The Warriors looked dead on the court and it looked like they would miss the NBA Finals this year.  However, during the second half of the game, the Warriors came alive while the Rockets forgot how to shoot.

During the third quarter, Stephen Curry scored 14 points of his 27 points.  This helped turned the game around for the Warriors from an 11 point deficit to a 7 point advantage. In addition, once the Warriors took the lead, they kept it thanks to 11 points from Kevin Durant.

Timberwolves Fired Coach after Blow Out Win

The Minnesota Timberwolves fired coach Tom Thibodeau on Sunday after more than two seasons with the NBA franchise. Assistant coach Ryan Saunders will be the interim coach, as the team looks for a permanent replacement for Thibodeau.

The Wolves told Thibodeau he was out of the job hours after he coached the team to a 22-point blow out over the LA Lakers. While the decision made a lot of sense, players need to adjust to the coaching change.

Coach Thibodeau also have several players he brought to the Wolves from the Bulls, including Derrick Rose. During an interview, Rose had strong words for people who doubt he can continue playing his best with Thibodeau.

Why Timberwolves Fired Coach Thibodeau

The Timberwolves hired Thibodeau in April 2016, 11 months after the Chicago Bulls fired him. He was the Bulls’ head coach for five years. In just two seasons with the Wolves, NBA news reports have good feedback about his rebuilding plan. He managed to bring the team into the playoffs last season, which is its first postseason appearance since 2003-04.

The NBA Finals Are Finally Here: Game 1 Prediction

The NBA Finals Are Finally Here: Game 1 PredictionThe NBA finals are finally here and It comes as no surprise to many sports handicappers that this year’s NBA Finals will have the Cleveland going head to head against the Golden State Warriors.  The Warriors are looking to get back at the Cavaliers for the loss they incurred at last year’s NBA Finals but who can say which team will come out on top.

This will be the first time in the NBA that the two same teams will be playing for three years straight.  Both teams certainly deserve to be in the NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors with a 12-0 season and the Cleveland Cavaliers with as 12-1 season.

In fact, unless you are a Warriors or a Cavaliers fan, this NBA season has been a bit of a bore with these two teams dominating the league.

NBA Free Agency 2018 Rumors

NBA Free Agency RumorsJuly 1 marks the first day where NBA teams and players can commit to deals. But they won’t be able to sign contracts until the 6th. But a s early as now there are speculations going around on quite the controversial players like Paul George, Chris Paul, and of course, LeBron James.

Sportsbooks have already released prop bets for the likely franchises the free agents for this year will be signing with. LeBron is leading with 10 and has the LA Lakers at the top with around -250 odds. And the excitement over this is being stretched out since LeBron is not saying anything about his plans.

The Lakers are also in a very good position in the open market this year, and the credit goes to their front office team- there are more possibilities for the Lakers. Paul George is one of the top free agents that could end up with the Lakers (-150) to leave Oklahoma with the chance of playing with LeBron (+130). For George, the Clippers are also pursuing him, and are +575 to sign a contract with the team.

You also have two “older” players like Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul who could possibly be moving as well. Currently, CP3 has +100 to stay with the Rockets, with Wade at -250 to stay with the Heat. But it can change depending on the force that is LeBron and where he decides to sign with.

Can the Cavs Make a Come Back After 2 Straight Losses in the Finals?

Can the Cavs Make a Come Back After 2 Straight Losses in the Finals?Game 2 of the NBA finals is over and many are thinking that this is it for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they lost another game against the Golden State Warriors in a 77-110 defeat last Sunday.  In fact, the Warriors are making the Cavs look like a second rate team when they rolled over them by 33 points.

Most sports handicappers agree that this should not be happening and that is must be a fluke since in order to make it to the finals, a team has to go through many hardship that keeps increasing the higher up the ladder they get.

The odd thing for this NBA finals is that the Golden State Warriors have not been a their best as we have seen in the past two games  the Warriors  play conspicuously imperfect basketball with easy open missed shots and ball turnovers such as last Sunday when they lost the ball 20 times!
