The Philadelphia Eagles visited the Green Bay Packers and managed to upset the hosts. The Eagles vs Packers game was close right to the very end as the latter was trying to force overtime with just 28 seconds remaining.
NFL headlines reported the final score of the Eagles vs Packers game to be 34-27. The Eagles moved to 2-2, while the Packers got their first loss of the season. Green Bay now has a 3-1 record. It could have gone into overtime but the Eagles tipped the pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the Packers’ final play of the game.
Philadelphia outlasted Green Bay’s first wave in the first quarter. In fact, quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 100 percent of his passes for a total of 129 yards. As a result, they went up 7-0, according to pay per head sportsbook reports.

In the aftermath of the Supreme Court Ruling about legalized sports betting, sports organizations have been vocal about the ruling. On Monday, NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell had his say about the Stance of the NFL on Legalized Sports Betting.
In his statement, Goodell expressed his opinion that legalized sport betting should be governed by the federal government. In addition, he suggested to Congress that they should enact “Four Core Principles” for sports gambling.
According to his statement which reiterated their previous stand on sports betting:
”(We) are prepared to address these changes in a thoughtful and comprehensive way, including substantial education and compliance trainings for our clubs, players, employees and partners,” he said. ”These efforts include supporting common sense legislation that protects our players, coaches and fans and maintains public confidence in our games.”

According to rumor, the NFL has been looking for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement by the start of the football season. However, the rumor is now over as football betting news websites said that Commissioner Roger Goodell just made it official. Thus, NFL Commissioner wants a New Collective Bargaining Agreement as soon as possible.
According to an interview on CNBC, Goodell said that “Our intent is to make sure we have a Collective Bargaining Agreement, we’ve been in it for eight years”. It’s worked very well, mainly for our fans but also for our players and our clubs, and so we have the structure of a system that works quite well.”
In addition, he said that “We’re continuing that dialogue, there are obviously changes we all want on both sides, and I think those are things that’ll improve us and try to make the Collective Bargaining [Agreement] continue to be successful for all the parties, and I hope we’ll do that.”
