The Future of Sports Betting in the US

the future of sports betting in the USThe recently concluded World Cup has brought about profits in the millions. The UK has the largest market in legalized sports betting in the world. In local pubs, you could see people on their smartphones, placing bets before and during the matches. The betting options you could see on their apps were overwhelming, with some matches offering hundreds of betting options for that single game alone.

But betting on sports though the phone and online is not new to them. What has been increasing, is the number of mobile platforms and apps that can take bets in real time. You also see a rise in the use of social media as a way to find betting options. You could, for instance, tweet a bookie, and the bookie will reply with the odds, and a link for you to place your bet on.

If you have found the best sportsbook pay per head service, your bookie operation would be raking in a lot of bets from a wider audience.

Football has given bettors a lot of betting options, with the countless unpredictable moments that can happen – you have fouls, corners, passes, shots on target, tackles, and goals that can be very enticing for live sports betting, especially during the game. The tournament alone is estimated to have had a more than a billion and a half worth of bets in the UK.

NBA Free Agency 2018 Rumors

NBA Free Agency RumorsJuly 1 marks the first day where NBA teams and players can commit to deals. But they won’t be able to sign contracts until the 6th. But a s early as now there are speculations going around on quite the controversial players like Paul George, Chris Paul, and of course, LeBron James.

Sportsbooks have already released prop bets for the likely franchises the free agents for this year will be signing with. LeBron is leading with 10 and has the LA Lakers at the top with around -250 odds. And the excitement over this is being stretched out since LeBron is not saying anything about his plans.

The Lakers are also in a very good position in the open market this year, and the credit goes to their front office team- there are more possibilities for the Lakers. Paul George is one of the top free agents that could end up with the Lakers (-150) to leave Oklahoma with the chance of playing with LeBron (+130). For George, the Clippers are also pursuing him, and are +575 to sign a contract with the team.

You also have two “older” players like Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul who could possibly be moving as well. Currently, CP3 has +100 to stay with the Rockets, with Wade at -250 to stay with the Heat. But it can change depending on the force that is LeBron and where he decides to sign with.

NBA Recap – Warriors Defeat Rockets in Game 7

Warriors Defeat Rockets in Game 7It was a great season for the Houston Rockets as they proved that they were good enough to go against the Golden State Warriors.  Unfortunately, good enough was not enough to beat them for Game 7 which ended in a 101-92 loss for the Rockets.

For the Golden State Warriors, it was a close call as they found themselves behind by 11 points with only 24 minutes to go.  The Warriors looked dead on the court and it looked like they would miss the NBA Finals this year.  However, during the second half of the game, the Warriors came alive while the Rockets forgot how to shoot.

During the third quarter, Stephen Curry scored 14 points of his 27 points.  This helped turned the game around for the Warriors from an 11 point deficit to a 7 point advantage. In addition, once the Warriors took the lead, they kept it thanks to 11 points from Kevin Durant.
