Giants Fire Marc Ross on Gettleman’s First Day on the Job

Giants Fire Marc Ross on Gettleman’s First Day on the JobBack in July of 2017, Dave Gettleman was fired as the head coach for the Carolina Panthers. A few months later, he was back in the news after being hired as the new General Manager of the New York Giants. Yesterday, in his first press conference, Gettleman announced that the Giants fired Marc Ross after 11 seasons with them.

Ross joined the Giants as the man in charge of college drafting. He quickly rose up the ladder and five years later became the Vice President of player evaluation. Before he joined the Giants, Ross worked for the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though both men had to part ways, Gettleman only had good things to say about Ross.

"I worked with Marc when I was with the organization before," Gettleman said in a statement. "I have great respect for him and high regard for his work. Clearly, we're going in a different direction, but that doesn't make these kinds of decisions any easier."

Don’t expect to see a lot of actions from the starters as each team will want to keep them in good health for the regular season.

The NFL will have 4 Games in London for the 2017 Season

The NFL will have 4 Games in London for the 2017 SeasonIt’s official, the NFL will now hold four regular season games in London for the 2017-2018 NFL Season.  NFL teams have been going head-to-head in London on a regular basis since 2007.  It seems like every other year they have been adding more games to the London roster and next season, they have upped the ante with four games.

This is one more than this year and it seems like NFL British fans just can’t get enough!  This year, 2 out of three games were played at Wembley Stadium and one at Twickenhan

So far, all we know is that the Miami Dolphins will play the New Orleans Saints and the rest of the matchups and venue location for the London games will be announced on Tuesday.

Super Bowl 51 Early Odds – Falcons vs. Patriots

Super Bowl 51 Early Odds – Falcons vs. PatriotsIn less than two short weeks, the New England Patriots will be taking on the Atlanta Falcons to see which team will be crowned the King of the NFL!

It was no big surprised to the football handicappers that last Sunday, the Patriots defeated the Steelers; however, the books did not expect the Falcons to cover the spread when they crushed the Packers with a final score of 44-21.

Now that both teams are set for Super Bowl 51, the big question is whether the Falcons can defeat the Patriots.  The Patriots are no strangers to being in the Super Bowl headline and this will be their 7th Super Bowl under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady at the helm.

Injuries that will affect your NFL Week 14 Betting

Injuries that will affect your NFL Week 14 BettingWe are now about to go into Week 14 of the NFL and by now most of us and the football handicappers have a good idea as to which team will make the playoffs.  This is of course, except for a few teams that are not on maybe-ground for the playoffs.

For example, the Dallas Cowboys just might clinch a playoff spot if the Redskins or the Packers lose on Sunday but of course, they would rather make the playoffs by defeating the Giants.

One the other end of the spectrum we have the Atlanta Falcons. After last Sunday’s 29-28 defeat by the Chiefs, the Falcons are now on shaky grounds about making the playoffs and winning the NFC South.
