Tom Brady Agrees to Extension with the Patriots for 2 More Years

Tom Brady Agrees to Extension with the Patriots for 2 More YearsTom Brady is a name that is synonymous with the New England Patriots and today it will remain that way for another 2 years. Brady with six Super Bowl appearance and four rings since he started playing with them back in 2000 is one of the Patriots' greatest asset and most football handicapping exerts agree that this must be a relief for the Patriots.

Brady and the Patriots have agreed to a two year extension that will keep him with the Patriots through the 2019 season.  Despite Brady turning 39 in August, the Patriots seem to have a lot of faith in him and Brady himself believes that he still has what it takes to bring the Patriots to another Super Bowl.

Brady is currently making $9 million for 2016 and will receive $10 million next year with a cap of $15 million and $16 million respectively.  This new 2 year extension should lower that cap while at the same time increase the cash flow.

Changes in the NFL

2016 Changes in the NFLWe are still more than a week out from Super Bowl 50 (there is still time to get in on 1Vice.ag’s $10,000 Super Bowl Squares Contest with a minimum $400 deposit) and we will certainly get into the big game next week, but for now we’ll take a look at everything else that has happened in the NFL over the past few weeks.

The big off-the-field news over the past month has been relocation, with the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders all hopeful of moving their franchises to Los Angeles.

The Rams made the strongest case in the eyes of the NFL owners, although San Diego has been given the option to join the Rams. San Diego must decide in mid-March if they will indeed move. That leaves Oakland to decide their fate, with rumors now pointing to San Antonio as a possible landing spot for the Raiders.

This year is no different with five games played between noon to midnight ET, anchored by the massive NBA Finals rematch of first place Cleveland against first place Golden State.
