Ionescu was once a protégé of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Also, she was the top pick in the 2020 WNBA draft. She earned her triple-double in the sixth game after an ankle injury sent her to the sideline in her rookie season.

She said she was excited about the milestone. However, she’s more excited that her team got the win. New York is now 3-0 after only winning two games last season.
