The 2018 NFL draft is just three weeks away and NFL fans, coaches and sportsbooks are making predictions. During this time of the year, pre-draft rumors are abundant in the news, sports forums and on the street. The NFL draft rumors vary from reasonable predictions to just wild and crazy ones. In our 2018 NFL Mock Draft, we will do our best to make some decent calls as to which team will adopt which player!
Quarterbacks are always a hot topic when it comes to the NFL Draft. In addition, several names have already been headline news on several sports betting news outlets. One of them has been about the Browns meeting with Baker Mayfield, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen and Sam Darnold.
Our verdict is that even though Mayfield, Allen and Darnold all have what it takes to join the Browns, Rosen will be the first one called to the podium. This is because Rosen has it all from having a strong arm to just being a better fit with Cleveland.
Top Prospects and Predictions
New York Giants will call Bradley Chubb
The NY Giants need a strong defensive end after trading Pierre-Paul to Tampa Bay. Chubb who comes from North Carolina State clearly fits the bill. In addition, the sports betting software providers are feeling positive about it because Chubb will be visiting the Giants tomorrow.
The Giants will also be setting up meetings with several QB prospects but at the moment, they come second to finding a good defensive end.
Indianapolis Colts will call Quenton Nelson
The Colts have a lot of options this year with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Many Colts fans would like to see them improve their offensive line to protect Andrew Luck.
Quenton Nelson, the Notre Dame guard would not only improve the ground game but also improve the pass protection. He is considered the top offensive lineman on the board and has been talking with the Colts.
Chicago Bears will call Denzel Ward
The Bears have already filled their need for reliable receiver by adding Allen Robinson and Trey Burton. According to the online sportsbooks, they are now looking to improve their defensive depth and Ward could be the answer.
It also helps that the Chicago Bears used 1 of their 30 of their pre-draft visit invitations on Minkah Fitpatrick and Denzel Ward. Despite being only 5’11”, The Bears could do a lot worst since Ward is the top Corner Back. We believe that his speed and athleticism will overcome any objections.
