The Arizona Cardinals announced plans to become the first National Football League team to have a sportsbook in their stadium. The Cardinals will have a BetMGM sportsbook at the State Farm Stadium.
BetMGM partnered with the team and Gila River Hotels and Casinos to open the sportsbook. They want to open the sportsbook in time for the NFL season next year. Also, it would be beneficial for BetMGM because the Arizona Cardinals’ home stadium is the venue for the 2023 Super Bowl.
According to affiliate news reports, BetMGM likewise plans to open sports betting facilities at all Gila River Hotels and Casinos in Arizona. When the state legalized sports wagering and released the guidelines, it set up 20 retail and mobile sports wagering licenses. That included ten licenses for pro sports groups and their stadiums in the state.
