The 2026 World Cup may be a couple of years away bit it is not stopping fans from being excited. Or at least it is for fans in North America as FIFA Reveals the 2026 World Cup Schedule and Venues. According to pay per head providers, the announcement was made yesterday by FIFA President Gianni Infantino during a live broadcast. In addition, alongside him was comedian Kevin Hart, along with appearances from other celebrities and sports figures.
In terms of location, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the biggest-ever men’s World Cup. This is because the matches will be across Mexico, Canada and the U.S. in 15 different cities. The inaugural match will be on June 11 in Mexico City at the Estadio Ateca. On the other hand, the Final match will take place on June 19 at the MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
For this historic World Cup, 48 countries will be split into 12 groups. As usual, the top two finishers in each group and the eight best third-placed teams reach the Round of 32. According to interactive sports news, this will be the first time in World Cup history that there will be a Round of 32.

FIFA Reveals 2026 World Cup Schedule and Venues - U.S. Venues
Atlanta - Atlanta, Georgia will host a total of eight FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including one of the Semifinals, FIFA. In addition, the games will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the second semifinal match will be held there.
Boston - Gillette Stadium in Boston will host five group stage matches. These include a Round of 32 match and a quarterfinal match.
Dallas - Arlington's AT&T Stadium will host five group stage matches and two in the round of 32. In addition, it will also host one match in the round of 16 and a semifinal game.
Houston - Houston will host five group stage matches and two knockout round games at the NRG Stadium. Matches there will be geld on June 14, 17, 20, 23 and 26.
Kansas City - Kansas City will host one of the quarterfinal matches along with four group-stage matches at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Dates will be on June 16, 20, 25 and 27.
Los Angeles - The first U.S. game in the 2026 World Cup will be held at SoFi Stadium on June 12. In addition, a total of 8 matched will be held there.
Miami – The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens will host seven 2026 World Cup games, including a quarterfinal and third-place games.
New York/New Jersey - The FIFA 2026 World Cup winner will be crowned at MetLife Stadium
Philadelphia - Lincoln Financial Field will host five group stage games on June 14, 19, 22, 25 and 27. In addition, it will also host a round of 16 games on July 4 which is also the American Independence Day.
San Francisco Bay Area - Levi's Stadium, will host six total 2026 World Cup games. Five of those games will be group-stage matches, with one round of 32 game. They will be held on June 13, 16, 19 22, 25 and July 1.
Seattle - Lumen Field will host four group stage and two knockout-round matches. The games kick off June 15
FIFA Reveals 2026 World Cup Schedule and Venues - Canada
Toronto – Canada will host 13 of the 104 games with 6 of those matches in Toronto. Furthermore, Match 1 of the World Cup will take place at Toronto’s BMO Field on June 12,2024.
Vancouver - The Vancouver matches take place on June 13, 18, 21, 24 and June 26. They will be held at BC Place.

Guadalajara – Guadalajara will have a total of 4 group stage matches at the Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Mexico.
Mexico City - The 2026 World Cup will open in Mexico City at Estadio Azteca for a total of 5 games. This will include 3 group stage matches, 1 round of 32 game and 1 round of 16.
Monterrey – Monterrey will also have a total of 4 matches that will take place at the Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Mexico. They include, 3 group stage matches and 1 round of 32.
