Vietbet was recommended to me by my friend who swears by them saying that his whole family uses them to bet because his father and uncle do not speak English very well and Vietbet is one of the few sportsbooks that offers their services in Vietnamese.

I decided to check them out to see how good these guys are. Since they are related to 5dimes I figured that the odds of them ripping me off were pretty low.

So I went online to sign up at Vietbet and the process was fairly simple. Now, I decided to have them chase me. So I did not make a deposit but waited for them to call me. It took them less than 24 hours to call me.

Usually when I do that, a sportsbook will contact me within an hour so they either have a crappy sales department or they get so many sign ups a day that they have a backlog. I’ll let you decide which…

So back to my call with their sales guy, he was a bit pushy but I thought to myself, maybe he really need this sale. I ended up taking their discounted lines instead of their 20% Free play bonus. Bonuses in my opinion are a pain with their rollover and when I am ready for a payout, I just want to get my cash with no issues about rollovers. Plus, I average about 8,000 in action a week so the discounted lines are a blessing.

I don’t like to use credit cards and I hate even more to use Western Union and Moneygram. Luckily for me, they have a nice choice of deposit options and I made a $2k deposit Moneybooker.

On my first day of betting, I got lucky and hit all of my bets including a 2 team parlay. On my second day of betting I got lucky again and doubled my money. Now, the problem when you are new to a sportsbook is that if you win too fast too soon, they usually label you as a sharp and will either lower your betting limit or kick you out.

I am glad to say none of that happened. I even took out a $5,000 payout and it came within two days so that was nice.

Vietbet is not for everyone. Many online sports bettors do not really understand nor care about the advantage of using discounted lines and would rather take a large welcome and reload bonus. If you are looking for a book that gives you a large bonus, Vietbet is not for you.

If you are looking for a book with discounted lines that can handle sharp action then Vietbet is for you.
